Delbert & Trevor Peters visit

Visit to Peters Hampshires and Showpigs at Columbus, Indiana, on Tuesday, March 6. Delbert & Trevor have invested in many top end Hampshire gilts over the past years to develop a solid program. Their sow herd runs deep in quality and it shows in this pig crop… They partnered up with Shaffers’ Gold Rush last summer and purchased Capital Investment, the STC Grand Champion Hampshire Boar. He has sired a good set of pigs for them. Feature litters sired by Capital Investment are the 55 litter (12/2/11) out of the 2011 WPX Champion Gilt (4 Real x Unreal); litter 56 (12/5/11) out of a The Real Deal x King Kong Sow; 5 litter (1/3/12) out of Soda Pop x Dark Intentions sow; 12 litter (1/4/12) out of the 2009 STC Champion gilt(Sun Tea x All Sport); the 16 litter (1/7/12)out of a Lug Nut sow and the 22 litter (1/22/12) out of a WPX  Cornerstone gilt.  They have entries at the Gold Rush Customer Appreciation Sale this coming Saturday in Richmond, Indiana...
